The body is always in motion.

Even when it seems still.

Every breath, every step, every moment of feeling your feet on the ground is an invitation: to arrive, to connect, to expand.
Find your practice
  • Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or returning to a practice you know well : my classes are spaces to arrive, explore, and feel at home in your body. Each format has its own texture, but they all share the same invitation: curiosity over perfection, sensation over performance. There's something quietly powerful about moving alongside others. Being held by a shared rhythm, a shared breath, a room full of people showing up for themselves.

  • Sometimes you need more than a group can offer. A space that's fully yours, where we can slow down, go deeper, and work with what's specifically happening in your body and your life. Whether it's yoga, Fluentbody, or a footwork session, working one-on-one means we follow your pace, your questions, your edges. No template. Just you, your body, and genuine attention.

About me
Hi, my name is Lis (she/her). I'm a movement facilitator and performer based in Berlin. My work lives at the intersection of yoga, somatic movement, dance, and an ongoing curiosity about what the body holds and what it can teach us.

What people say about my classes
  • I have been in Lis' Fluentbody classes for some time now. They were helpful for me to improve my body awareness, muscle/fascia control, and flexibility. She has simple yet eye opening sentences/phrases for describing the movements, which helps hugely to understand the concepts and underlying perspectives in an easy way. She holds sessions with an explorative and inviting way, keeping it light, playful and sometimes funky. music playlists are another well-suiting part of the sessions, which she shares openly when it is asked. thanks

  • I have been practicing Fluentbody weekly with Lis for a 1.5 year now and have also taken part in the Anxiety Lab.

Lis classes are a journey for me—a journey through body qualities, textures, movement, empowerment, and reflections on my political body. It is a journey through all kinds of emotions, from happiness and playfulness like a child to moments that bring tears to my eyes. Reconnecting with my playfulness reminds me of its existence and allows it to be there and grow.

It is a journey of creativity with myself and my body, of coming into contact with it while staying in contact with others. It is a journey where everthing belongs and where everything is held with safety. Lis accompanies this process with thoughtful and profound words.

Whatever I bring, however I am, I feel accepted. Practicing with Lis has given me a space where I can explore, feel, create, and belong.

  • Lis is one of my favourite movement facilitators in Berlin. She creates a space that feels authentic, welcoming, accessible, and wonderfully queer-friendly.
After sustaining a serious knee injury during a performance, I struggled to trust my body again or find a class where I felt free to move and dance without fear—or without feeling like I wasn't "good" or "strong" or "fit" enough. Lis's Fluent Body classes offered exactly what I needed: a gentle yet deeply supportive space to explore movement again and reconnect with my body in a meaningful, playful way.
What I appreciate most is the invitation to meet yourself exactly where you are. Lis creates a calm and clear atmosphere - there is no performative pressure to be anything other than who you are when you walk into the room. Whether you're arriving with joy, grief, rage, exhaustion, curiosity, or everything all at once, there's space for it. Lis creates an environment where all emotions are welcome and movement becomes a way of allowing and listening to your body rather than trying to change or fix it. That sense of acceptance has been deeply healing for me.
These classes have become a cherished weekly ritual—an essential part of both my movement practice and my nervous system care. I always leave feeling more grounded, more connected to myself, and more at home in my body. I'm incredibly grateful for Lis and the beautiful, playful space she creates.

  • I have been attending Lis’s Fluentbody classes, both in group settings and through one-to-one sessions, for quite some time now. It has been a beautiful journey of learning to be present with whatever arises in the moment and to meet my own process with greater patience. Along the way, I have also become more attuned to my body’s sensations and needs. Throughout this journey of self-discovery, I have felt wholeheartedly supported and accompanied by Lis.
